We had the privilege of visiting Thompson on September 7, 2024, where we met with the president and members of the Chamber of Commerce, along with other prominent local business owners. Our insightful discussions were orgnised by best immigration law firm in Winnipeg A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation, focused on Thompson’s many business opportunities and the vital role targeted immigration can play in achieving the city’s economic and growth goals. In the conversation, we talked about how certain immigration policies may boost regional companies, address labor shortages, and help Thompson’s long-term development by drawing in skilled workers, business owners, and foreign students.
Special thanks go out to Khawar Habib, Syed Irtaza Hussain Naqvi, Christopher, Ethel, Chukwuemeka Okolie, Yogi, Barrister Surinder Rai, and the many international students who joined the conversation and shared their valuable insights. This visit reinforced the importance of collaborative efforts between the government, businesses, and the immigration sector to build sustainable, prosperous communities in Canada’s vibrant cities like Thompson. This approach keeps the tone professional and highlights the key participants, while showcasing the event’s importance in building business opportunities through immigration.
