Meanwhile, Skilled Worker in Manitoba invitations dropped to 44.62%, reflecting a notable decrease from its 70.20% share in the previous year. And January 2025 saw no draws based on IES.

Increasing Score Requirements:

The minimum score requirement for the Skilled Worker in Manitoba category rose significantly, jumping from 607 in January 2024 to 838 in January 2025. This suggests increased competition or a tightening of selection criteria. Interestingly, the lowest score for the Skilled Worker Overseas category decreased slightly from 639 in January 2024 to 609 in January 2025.

These trends highlight the dynamic nature of immigration programs and emphasize the importance for applicants to stay updated on changes to maximize their chances of receiving an LAA. As Manitoba continues to adapt its immigration strategies, future draws will undoubtedly offer further insights into the province’s evolving workforce needs.
