Canada conducted Express Entry Draw #243 on March 15, 2023,
issuing 7,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence under a No
Program Specified (All-Program) draw. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System
(CRS) score required was 490, indicating a broader and more inclusive selection
compared to program-specific rounds.
All-program draws consider candidates from multiple Express
Entry streams, including the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian
Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). This allows
IRCC to invite a larger pool of skilled workers who meet Canada’s overall
economic immigration needs.
The high number of ITAs issued in this draw reflects
Canada’s continued commitment to welcoming skilled immigrants to address labour
shortages and support long-term economic growth. A CRS cut-off of 490 also
shows improved opportunities for candidates without a provincial nomination,
especially those with strong education, work experience, and language
proficiency.
A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation assists Express
Entry candidates with CRS score analysis, profile optimization, and strategic
guidance to improve their chances of receiving an ITA and successfully
transitioning to Canadian permanent residence.
