On April 24, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) carried out Express Entry Draw #295, issuing 1,400 Invitations to
Apply (ITAs) under the French language proficiency category. The minimum CRS
score required for this round was 410, offering another favourable opportunity
for strong French-speaking candidates.
French-language category draws continue to support Canada’s
commitment to increasing Francophone immigration, especially in regions outside
Quebec. With a CRS cut-off of 410, this draw once again demonstrated how French
proficiency can significantly boost a candidate’s chances of receiving an
invitation compared to general rounds with much higher thresholds.
For applicants who meet the French language requirements,
category-based draws like this one can be a strategic pathway toward permanent
residency.
A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation can help you
evaluate your eligibility for French-focused draws, improve your CRS score, and
