On October 10, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry Draw #318, issuing 1,000 Invitations to Apply
(ITAs) under the French language proficiency category. The minimum CRS score required for this draw was 444, continuing the regular pattern of
French-language category-based selections.
French proficiency remains a strong advantage in the Express
Entry system, particularly for candidates planning to settle outside Quebec.
With a CRS cut-off of 444, this draw once again highlights how language skills
can significantly improve a candidate’s chances compared to general rounds with
higher thresholds.
For applicants who meet the French language requirements,
category-based draws continue to offer a focused and effective pathway to
Canadian permanent residency.
A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation can help you
