Manitoba conducted Special Immigration Measure – Ukraine Draw #23 on February 28, 2024, issuing 155 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw marked the
second consecutive draw conducted in 2024 under Manitoba’s special immigration
measures for individuals affected by the ongoing situation in Ukraine.
As part of the Manitoba government’s humanitarian response,
and in alignment with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s special
immigration measures, this draw focused on candidates who meet all MPNP
eligibility requirements and are directly impacted by events in Ukraine. The
initiative reflects Manitoba’s continued commitment to supporting displaced
individuals while providing a pathway to permanent residence.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has confirmed that
regular Expression of Interest draws will continue to be conducted for eligible
Ukrainian applicants, ensuring ongoing support through a structured and
transparent immigration process.
This second continuous Ukraine-focused draw highlights
Manitoba’s balanced approach to immigration, combining humanitarian
responsibility with long-term settlement and economic integration.
