PNP Draw Invites 1,082 Candidates with CRS Cut-Off of 710.
On February 16, 2022, IRCC held Express Entry Draw 216, once again targeting
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. In this round, 1,082 Invitations
to Apply (ITAs) were issued, with the minimum CRS score required set at 710.
This draw continued the strong pattern of PNP-focused
selections in early 2022. With more than a thousand ITAs issued, IRCC
demonstrated its commitment to welcoming candidates who had already been chosen
by provinces based on local economic and workforce needs.
This round
highlighted the stability of the PNP route in Canada’s immigration strategy.
Provinces were actively selecting workers who could integrate quickly into
their communities—often with job offers, local experience, or skills in demand.
