The 248th MPNP Expression of Interest (EOI) draw was held on June 26, 2025, targeting multiple streams under Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program: 1. International Education Stream – Close Relative in Manitoba Selection This stream considered profiles that met International Education Stream eligibility requirements and declared a Manitoba supporter who is a close relative, a Canadian permanent resident or citizen, residing in Manitoba for at least one year. Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued: 478 2. Skilled Worker Stream This stream included profiles submitted under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba or Skilled Worker Overseas pathways, directly invited by MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative. Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued: 14 Lowest ranking score invited: 712 Breakdown of strategic recruitment initiatives: Employer Services: 5 Francophone Community: 5 Regional Communities: 3 Ethnocultural Communities: 1 So far in 2025, a total of 1,358 candidates have received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in MPNP draws, combining this draw with previous draws. This draw demonstrates Manitoba’s continued commitment to attracting international graduates and skilled workers through targeted initiatives to support provincial labour market needs. Candidates who receive an LAA now have 60 days to submit their provincial nomination application to MPNP.
