Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw – December 18, 2024

Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #234 on December 18, 2024, issuing a total of 399 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw focused on international graduates and skilled workers overseas, reflecting Manitoba’s ongoing commitment to attracting skilled talent to the province.

Under the International Education Stream, 297 candidates were invited. This stream supports international graduates who have completed post-secondary education and meet eligibility requirements, helping retain skilled talent within Manitoba’s workforce.

The Skilled Worker Overseas stream issued 102 LAAs to candidates invited through a strategic recruitment initiative. The lowest-ranked candidate in this stream had a score of 630, demonstrating the competitive selection process for overseas skilled workers.

Of the 399 LAAs issued in this draw, 43 were granted to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, offering a pathway from provincial nomination to federal permanent residence.

This draw highlights Manitoba’s strategic approach to balancing local retention and targeted international recruitment, ensuring skilled professionals are available to meet the province’s labour needs.
