Express Entry Draw

Express Entry Draw 234 – October 26, 2022

On October 26, 2022, IRCC held Express Entry Draw #234, continuing with large All-Program draws. In this round, 4,750 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the minimum CRS score dropped again to 496. This was another major milestone. Not only did IRCC increase the number of ITAs, but the CRS cut-off also fell below the 500 mark, something many candidates had been waiting to see since All-Program draws resumed. For Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades applicants with CRS scores in the high 400s, this draw was a breakthrough. It confirmed that consistent large draws were steadily opening doors to more profiles. It also emphasized the importance of being ready with documents and having accurate, up-to-date profiles, because once the CRS cut-off drops, ITAs can come quickly. At A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation, we help candidates:  ✔ Keep profiles optimized and current  ✔ Strategize CRS improvements  ✔ Prepare PR applications efficiently Draw 234 showed that by late October 2022, Express Entry was not just stable, it was thriving, and inviting more skilled workers than ever. Express Entry Draw 233 – October 12, 2022

All-Program Draw Issues 4,250 ITAs with CRS Cut-Off of 500 On October 12, 2022, IRCC conducted Express Entry Draw #233, continuing with the All-Program draw format. In this round, a massive 4,250 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the minimum CRS score dropped to 500 — a psychological and strategic milestone for many candidates. This was one of the most encouraging draws of the year. For the first time since All-Program draws resumed, the CRS cut-off touched the 500 mark, opening the door to a much wider pool of skilled workers around the world. Draw #233 was a turning point because: ITAs increased from 3,750 to 4,250, the largest draw of the year so far. CRS dropped from 504 to 500, signaling greater accessibility. This draw brought real hope to thousands of Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades candidates who had been sitting just above or around 500 CRS. Many profiles that once felt out of reach were suddenly competitive. Draw 233 showed that Canada’s Express Entry system had regained its momentum — and skilled workers worldwide were once again moving closer to permanent residence. Express Entry Draw 232 – September 28, 2022

All-Program Draw Issues 3,750 ITAs with CRS Cut-Off of 504 On September 28, 2022, IRCC held Express Entry Draw #232, continuing the All-Program selection trend. In this round, 3,750 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the minimum CRS score dropped further to 504. This was one of the most optimistic draws of 2022. With the largest number of ITAs so far and a CRS score that had fallen into the low 500s, Express Entry was clearly entering a more accessible phase for skilled workers. ●       ITAs increased again from 3,250 to 3,750 ●       CRS dropped from 510 to 504, making PR realistic for many more candidates ●       IRCC showed strong commitment to meeting immigration targets For Federal Skilled Worker, CEC, and FST candidates with CRS scores in the low 500s, this draw was a breakthrough moment. Profiles that had been waiting in the pool for months were finally seeing real movement. It also reinforced the importance of staying active in the pool, updating profiles, and being ready with documents once an ITA is issued. Draw #232 showed that by fall 2022, Express Entry was fully back on track, inviting more candidates and lowering CRS cut-offs with every round.
