All-Program Draw Issues 4,250 ITAs with CRS Cut-Off of 500
On October 12, 2022, IRCC conducted Express Entry Draw #233,
continuing with the All-Program draw format. In this round, a massive 4,250
Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the minimum CRS score dropped to
500 — a psychological and strategic milestone for many candidates.
This was one of the most encouraging draws of the year. For
the first time since All-Program draws resumed, the CRS cut-off touched the 500
mark, opening the door to a much wider pool of skilled workers around the
world.
Draw #233 was a turning point because:
ITAs increased from 3,750 to 4,250, the largest draw of the
year so far. CRS dropped from 504 to 500, signaling greater accessibility.
This draw brought real hope to thousands of Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian
Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades candidates who had been sitting
just above or around 500 CRS. Many profiles that once felt out of reach were
suddenly competitive.
Draw 233 showed that Canada’s Express Entry system had
regained its momentum — and skilled workers worldwide were once again moving
closer to permanent residence.
