On October 26, 2022, IRCC held Express Entry Draw #234, continuing with large All-Program draws. In this round, 4,750 Invitations to
Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the minimum CRS score dropped again to 496. This
was another major milestone. Not only did IRCC increase the number of ITAs, but
the CRS cut-off also fell below the 500 mark, something many candidates had
been waiting to see since All-Program draws resumed.
For Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and
Federal Skilled Trades applicants with CRS scores in the high 400s, this draw
was a breakthrough. It confirmed that consistent large draws were steadily
opening doors to more profiles.
It also emphasized the importance of being ready with
documents and having accurate, up-to-date profiles, because once the CRS
cut-off drops, ITAs can come quickly.
