Express Entry Draw

Express Entry Draw 228 – August 3, 2022

All-Program Draw Issues 2,000 ITAs with CRS Cut-Off of 533 On August 3, 2022, IRCC conducted Express Entry Draw #228, once again holding an All-Program draw. In this round, 2,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the minimum CRS score dropped further to 533. This draw showed a clear and positive trend:  ✔ More candidates were being invited  ✔ CRS scores were steadily decreasing  ✔ Express Entry was returning to a more balanced and predictable system  After the restart of All-Program draws in July, IRCC continued to increase the size of invitations. The CRS cut-off dropping from 542 to 533 in just two weeks was a strong signal that the pool was beginning to normalize. For many skilled workers, this was the clearest sign yet that Express Entry was truly back after months of limited access. At A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation, we help candidates:  ✔ Track CRS trends  ✔ Strengthen profiles strategically  ✔ Prepare for upcoming all-program rounds Draw #228 confirmed that summer 2022 marked the revival of Canada’s Express Entry system with expanding opportunities for skilled workers worldwide. Express Entry Draw 227- July 20, 2022

All-Program Draw Issues 1,750 ITAs with CRS Cut-Off of 542 On July 20, 2022, IRCC held Express Entry Draw #227, continuing with All-Program invitations for the second time in 2022. In this round, 1,750 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the minimum CRS score dropped to 542. This draw was a strong follow-up to Draw #226 and showed that IRCC was gradually expanding the number of candidates invited while also allowing the CRS cut-off to ease. After months of PNP-only selections, this was excellent news for Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades (FST) candidates who had been waiting in the pool. The number of ITAs increased from 1,500 to 1,750 and CRS dropped by 15 points compared to the previous All-Program draw. This draw confirmed that IRCC was slowly reopening Express Entry to a wider range of skilled workers. Candidates without provincial nominations could once again compete fairly, based on language, education, work experience, and adaptability. For many applicants, this draw renewed hope that CRS scores would continue to trend downward as more rounds were held. Draw 227 showed that Canada’s Express Entry system was stabilizing again,  and opportunities for skilled workers were returning in full force. Express Entry Draw

Express Entry Draw 226 – July 6, 2022

First All-Program Draw of 2022 Issues 1,500 ITAs with CRS Cut-Off of 557 On July 6, 2022, IRCC held Express Entry Draw #226, marking the first All-Program draw of the year after a long series of PNP-only rounds. In this historic draw, 1,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the minimum CRS score required was 557. This draw was highly significant because it reopened the door for candidates from all Express Entry programs, including:  ✔ Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)  ✔ Canadian Experience Class (CEC)  ✔ Federal Skilled Trades (FST)  ✔ Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)  After months of focusing solely on provincial nominees, IRCC finally resumed All-Program invitations. This signaled a major policy shift and gave hope to thousands of candidates who had been waiting in the Express Entry pool without PNP nominations. The CRS cut-off of 557 was still relatively high, reflecting the backlog and strong demand in the pool. However, it marked the start of normalization in Express Entry draws after pandemic-era adjustments. For many candidates, this draw was the moment their PR journey restarted after a long pause. At A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation, we help clients:  ✔ Re-enter the Express Entry pool strategically  ✔ Improve CRS scores after long pauses  ✔ Build strong PR pathways with or without PNP ✨ Draw #226 was a turning point in 2022,  the return of All-Program draws reshaped Canada’s Express Entry landscape and reopened opportunities for thousands of skilled workers worldwide.
