Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry Draw #249 on May 24, 2023, under a No Program Specified, also
known as an all-program draw. In this round, IRCC issued 4,800 Invitations to
Apply (ITAs) to candidates across all Express Entry-managed programs.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score
required was 488, indicating a relatively competitive but accessible cutoff
compared to earlier draws in 2023. All-program draws allow candidates from the
Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled
Trades Program, and Provincial Nominee Program to receive invitations based
purely on CRS ranking.
This draw demonstrated IRCC’s continued focus on inviting a
large number of skilled candidates to meet Canada’s labor market and
immigration targets, offering strong opportunities for applicants with solid
CRS profiles.
A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation assists Express
Entry candidates with profile optimization, CRS score improvement strategies,
and end-to-end PR application support to help maximize the chances of receiving
an ITA.
