On February 13,
2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted Express
Entry Draw #283, inviting 1,490 candidates in a general category round. The
minimum CRS score required for this draw was 535, showing a slight decrease
from earlier general draws of 2024.
General draws
continue to select candidates from all major Express Entry programs, including
the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). A score of 535 indicates that profiles
with competitive education, skilled work experience, strong language results,
or additional factors like Canadian employment continue to perform well.
For applicants
aiming to secure an Invitation to Apply, staying informed about CRS trends and
ensuring that your Express Entry profile is kept up to date remains essential.
