On February 19, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry Draw #337, issuing 6,500 Invitations to Apply
(ITAs) under the French language proficiency category. The minimum CRS score required for this round was 428, providing an excellent opportunity for
candidates with strong French language skills.
French-focused draws remain a strategic pathway for
candidates seeking permanent residency in Canada, particularly for those
planning to settle outside Quebec. With a CRS cut-off of 428, this round
allowed many candidates to receive ITAs, highlighting the advantage that French
proficiency offers within the Express Entry system.
For applicants who meet the French language requirements,
category-based draws continue to provide an effective and focused route to
permanent residency.
