On August 8, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry Draw #360, issuing 2,500 Invitations to Apply
(ITAs) under the French language proficiency category. The minimum CRS score required for this round was 481, providing a strong opportunity for candidates
with French language skills.
This was the first French language draw after March 2025,
highlighting the continued importance of French proficiency within the Express
Entry system. French category-based draws remain a strategic pathway,
especially for candidates planning to settle outside Quebec. A CRS cut-off of
481 demonstrates the competitive advantage that French proficiency offers,
allowing many candidates to receive ITAs even at moderate overall CRS scores.
For individuals with strong French language skills, these
draws provide a targeted route to Canadian permanent residency.
A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation can help
French-speaking candidates assess eligibility, optimize their CRS profile, and
