Manitoba PNP EOI Draw 263 – January 29, 2026

Skilled Worker Stream Issues 47 LAAs Under Strategic Recruitment Initiatives

Manitoba continued its 2026 immigration intake with Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #263 on January 29, 2026, under the Skilled Worker Stream of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In this round, the province issued 47 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates who were directly invited under strategic recruitment initiatives, targeting both Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways.

This draw underscores Manitoba’s targeted approach to immigration, focusing on candidates with connections to employers, communities, or strategic provincial priorities.

Key Highlights of MPNP EOI Draw #263

       Draw Number: 263

       Draw Date: January 29, 2026

       Stream: Skilled Worker Stream

       LAAs Issued: 47

The 47 LAAs were allocated across Manitoba’s strategic priority areas as follows:

       Employer Services: 24 LAAs

Temporary Public Policy (TPP – Work Permits for Prospective PNP Candidates): 14 LAAs

       Francophone Community: 3 LAAs

       Regional Communities: 4 LAAs

       Ethnocultural Communities: 2 LAAs

This allocation reflects Manitoba’s continued focus on employer-driven immigration, community priorities, and Francophone recruitment, while maintaining flexibility to support temporary workers through TPP pathways.

Out of the 47 LAAs issued, 6 candidates declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, enabling them to link their provincial nomination with the federal Express Entry system. This alignment can significantly accelerate permanent residence processing, providing an added advantage for selected candidates.

Manitoba’s EOI Draw #263 reflects a calibrated and strategic approach to provincial immigration. By focusing on priority streams and leveraging employer and community-based recruitment, the province continues to ensure that selected candidates are well-positioned to contribute to Manitoba’s economy and communities.
