Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw – January 15, 2026

Manitoba has officially kicked off 2026 with its first Expression of Interest (EOI) draw, held on January 15, 2026, under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In this draw, the province issued a total of 55 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates under the Skilled Worker Stream.

This draw focused on profiles submitted through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways, specifically those who had been directly invited by the MPNP under strategic recruitment initiatives. These initiatives are designed to meet Manitoba’s targeted labour market and community needs.

       Employer Services: 21 LAAs

       Francophone Community: 7 LAAs

       Regional Communities: 15 LAAs

       Ethnocultural Communities: 9 LAAs

Temporary Public Policy (TPP – Work Permits for Prospective PNP Candidates): 3 LAAs

Out of the 55 LAAs issued, 10 candidates declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, allowing them to align their provincial nomination with the federal Express Entry system for faster processing toward permanent residence.
