Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw – December 27, 2024

Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #235 on December 27, 2024, issuing a total of 276 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw focused on skilled workers in Manitoba, including occupation-specific selections, reflecting the province’s priorities in addressing labour needs across key sectors.

Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 239 candidates from all eligible profiles were invited, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 857, highlighting the competitive nature of the selection.

The occupation-specific selection targeted candidates in high-demand roles, including:

       Specialists in surgery (NOC 31101)

General practitioners and family physicians (NOC 31102)

Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses (NOC 31301)

       Nurse practitioners (NOC 31302)

Bus drivers, subway operators, and other transit operators (NOC 73301)
Additionally, profiles in the restaurant and food service management category (NOC 60030) were considered, with 19 LAAs issued and the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 632.

Of the 276 LAAs issued in this draw, 56 were granted to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, providing a pathway from provincial nomination to federal permanent residence.

This draw demonstrates Manitoba’s continued focus on meeting local labour needs through both general and occupation-specific streams, ensuring critical sectors have access to skilled professionals.
