Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw – November 22, 2024

Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #233 on November 22, 2024, issuing a total of 279 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw targeted skilled workers in Manitoba, international graduates, and skilled workers overseas, reflecting the province’s strategic immigration priorities.

In the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 89 candidates with a close relative in Manitoba were invited. Eligible supporters must be Canadian permanent residents or citizens, established residents of Manitoba, and have been residing in the province for at least one year. The lowest-ranked candidate in this stream scored 840, highlighting the competitive nature of this selection.

The International Education Stream issued 165 LAAs to eligible candidates, supporting the retention of international graduates who contribute to Manitoba’s workforce and economy.

Under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, 25 candidates were invited through a strategic recruitment initiative, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 617. These invitations help Manitoba employers attract skilled professionals from outside the province to meet targeted labour needs.

Of the 279 LAAs issued in this draw, 55 were granted to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, providing a pathway from provincial nomination to federal permanent residence.

This draw underscores Manitoba’s continued efforts to balance local talent retention and strategic overseas recruitment to strengthen its workforce.
