On October 21, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) conducted Express Entry Draw #319, inviting 648 candidates under
the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The minimum CRS score required for this
round was 791, making it one of the highest-scoring PNP draws of the year.
PNP draws continue to play a key role in Canada’s
immigration system, enabling provinces and territories to select skilled
workers who meet local labour market needs. Because a provincial nomination
adds 600 CRS points, candidates selected through PNP draws are typically among
the top-ranking applicants in the Express Entry pool.
For applicants aiming to enhance their chances of receiving
an Invitation to Apply, obtaining a provincial nomination remains one of the
most strategic pathways.
