Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw – November 8, 2024

Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #232 on November 8, 2024, issuing a total of 274 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw focused on occupation-specific selections, international graduates, and skilled workers overseas, aligning with Manitoba’s targeted immigration priorities.

Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 41 candidates employed in occupation-specific roles were invited. This draw focused on restaurant and food service managers (NOC 60030), with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 672, reflecting the province’s need for skilled professionals in the hospitality sector.

The International Education Stream issued 188 LAAs to eligible candidates, supporting the retention of international graduates contributing to Manitoba’s workforce.

For the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, 45 candidates were selected under a strategic recruitment initiative, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 709. These invitations help Manitoba employers attract skilled professionals from outside the province to address labour shortages.

Of the 274 LAAs issued in this draw, 33 were granted to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, providing a pathway from provincial nomination to federal permanent residence.

This draw highlights Manitoba’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its workforce through a strategic mix of local talent retention and overseas recruitment.
