On October 25, 2023, IRCC held Express Entry Draw #270,
targeting candidates with French language proficiency.
In this draw, 300 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued,
with a minimum CRS score of 486.
This category-based draw highlights Canada’s continued focus
on strengthening Francophone immigration outside Quebec. Candidates with strong
French language skills benefit from both category-based selection and
additional CRS points, making this pathway especially advantageous for
bilingual or French-speaking applicants.
For candidates with French proficiency, maintaining an
updated Express Entry profile and valid language test results is crucial, as
these draws often have lower CRS cut-offs compared to all-program draws.
At A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation, we help
Francophone and bilingual candidates strategically position their profiles to
take full advantage of French-language Express Entry draws and provincial
nomination opportunities.
