On October 10, 2023, IRCC held Express Entry Draw #268, a No
Program Specified (all-program) draw covering candidates from CEC, FSW, and FST
streams.
In this draw, 3,725 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued,
with a minimum CRS score of 500.
This draw marked a return to a more competitive CRS
threshold compared to several category-based and occupation-specific draws
earlier in 2023. While the number of ITAs was moderate, the 500 CRS cutoff
reflected continued strong competition among all-program candidates, especially
those without provincial nomination or category-based eligibility.
For candidates with CRS scores close to the 500 range, this
draw highlighted the importance of strategic profile optimization—such as
improving language scores, gaining Canadian work experience, securing a
provincial nomination, or qualifying under category-based selections—to remain
competitive in future all-program draws.
At A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation, we closely
monitor Express Entry trends and help candidates choose the most realistic
pathway—whether through Express Entry optimization, PNPs, or targeted
category-based draws—to maximize their chances of receiving an ITA.
