On October 24, 2023, IRCC conducted Express Entry
Draw #269, which was a Provincial Nominee Program–specific draw.
In this round, 1,548 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were
issued to candidates who had received a provincial nomination, with a minimum
CRS score of 776.
As expected for a PNP-only draw, the CRS cutoff remained
high due to the additional 600 CRS points awarded for provincial
nomination. This draw reinforced the continued importance of Provincial
Nominee Programs as a strong pathway for candidates with lower base CRS
scores who may not be competitive in all-program Express Entry draws.
For candidates aiming for Canadian permanent residence,
securing a provincial nomination—through streams such as MPNP, OINP, BCPNP,
or SINP—can significantly improve Express Entry prospects.
At A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation, we
assist candidates in identifying the right PNP stream, preparing compliant
applications, and aligning Express Entry profiles to increase nomination and
ITA success.
