On October 26, 2023, IRCC conducted Express Entry
Draw #271, targeting candidates in healthcare occupations under the
category-based selection system.
In this draw, 3,600 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were
issued, with a minimum CRS score of 431, making it one of the more
accessible draws for healthcare professionals in 2023.
This draw reflects Canada’s ongoing need for skilled workers
in the healthcare sector, including roles such as nurses, medical
technologists, therapists, and other allied health professionals.
Category-based healthcare draws typically have lower CRS cut-offs compared to general draws, creating strong opportunities for eligible
candidates.
Healthcare workers are encouraged to ensure:
● Their NOC codes
accurately match their job duties
● Work experience and
credentials are well-documented
● Express Entry
profiles are up to date, including language results and ECA
At A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation, we
assist healthcare professionals in assessing eligibility, selecting the correct
NOC, and preparing strong Express Entry profiles to maximize success in
category-based draws.
