On April 23, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry Draw #294, inviting 2,095 candidates in a
general category round. The minimum CRS score required for this draw was 529,
keeping general draws competitive as Canada continues selecting skilled workers
across multiple programs.
General rounds consider candidates from the Canadian
Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and Federal
Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). A CRS cut-off of 529 indicates that applicants
with strong qualifications , including skilled work experience, high language
scores, and post-secondary education, were well-positioned for an invitation.
For those planning their Express Entry pathway, monitoring
score patterns and maintaining a complete, accurate profile remain important
steps to improve selection chances.
