On August 15, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry Draw #310, issuing 2,000 Invitations to Apply
(ITAs) under the French language proficiency category. The minimum CRS score required for this round was 394, making it the only category so far in 2024
where the cut-off score fell below 400.
French category-based draws continue to support Canada’s
goal of increasing Francophone immigration outside Quebec. This round
demonstrates how strong French language skills can significantly enhance a
candidate’s chances within the Express Entry system, even when overall CRS
scores may be lower than those in general or other category-based draws.
For applicants who meet the French language requirements,
category-based draws like this one offer an efficient pathway to permanent
residency in Canada.
A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation can help you
evaluate your eligibility for French-focused draws, improve your CRS profile,
