On September 9, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) conducted Express Entry Draw #313, inviting 911 candidates under
the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The minimum CRS score required for this
round was 732, continuing the trend of high cut-off scores for PNP-focused
draws.
PNP draws play a critical role in Canada’s immigration
system by allowing provinces and territories to select skilled workers who can
meet regional labour market needs. Since a provincial nomination adds 600 CRS
points, candidates selected through PNP draws are typically among the
highest-scoring applicants in the Express Entry pool.
For individuals aiming to improve their chances of receiving
an Invitation to Apply, securing a provincial nomination remains one of the
most effective strategies.
