On
November 18, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
conducted Express Entry Draw #325, inviting 174 candidates under the Provincial
Nominee Program (PNP). The minimum CRS score required for this round was 816,
marking one of the highest thresholds of the year for PNP draws.
PNP
draws continue to play a key role in Canada’s immigration system, allowing
provinces and territories to select skilled workers who meet local labour
market needs. With the 600-point CRS boost awarded to provincial nominees,
candidates selected in PNP rounds are consistently among the top-ranking
applicants in the Express Entry pool.
For
applicants seeking permanent residency, obtaining a provincial nomination
remains a strategic way to significantly increase CRS scores and improve the
likelihood of receiving an Invitation to Apply.
