Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #215 on April
24, 2024, issuing a total of 327 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) across
multiple Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) streams. This draw focused
on candidates with Manitoba education, international work experience, and
strategic overseas recruitment.
Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, candidates who
declared that they or their spouse had completed post-secondary education in
Manitoba were considered. A total of 203 LAAs were issued in this category,
with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 811, reflecting the competitive nature
of applicants with strong local educational ties.
The International Education Stream invited 66 candidates who
declared at least four years of work experience within the past five years.
This highlights Manitoba’s commitment to retaining international graduates who
have gained valuable professional experience.
For the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, 58 candidates were
selected under a strategic recruitment initiative, with the lowest-ranked
candidate scoring 644. These invitations continue to address labour market
needs in the province through targeted international recruitment.
Of the 327 LAAs issued in this draw, 68 were granted to
candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker
validation code, creating a pathway from provincial nomination to federal
permanent residence.
This draw emphasizes Manitoba’s balanced approach to
immigration, combining local education, professional experience, and strategic
overseas recruitment to meet provincial priorities.
