Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw – June 6, 2024

Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #220 on June 6, 2024, issuing a total of 254 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) across multiple Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) streams. This draw focused on Skilled Worker in Manitoba profiles, international graduates, and targeted overseas recruitment.

Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, all eligible profiles were considered, with 135 LAAs issued. The lowest-ranked candidate invited had a score of 834, demonstrating the competitive nature of this stream.

The International Education Stream invited 74 candidates who met eligibility requirements, reflecting Manitoba’s commitment to retaining international graduates who contribute to the provincial workforce and economy.

For the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, 45 candidates were selected under a strategic recruitment initiative, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 708. This stream continues to support Manitoba employers in attracting skilled workers from outside the province to fill targeted labour shortages.

Of the 254 LAAs issued in this draw, 35 were granted to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, providing a pathway from provincial nomination to federal permanent residence.

This draw underscores Manitoba’s balanced approach to immigration, combining local skilled worker recruitment, international graduate retention, and strategic overseas selection to meet provincial priorities.
