Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held
Express Entry Draw #256 on July 7, 2023, focusing on candidates with French
language proficiency (Version 1). This draw aimed to encourage skilled
immigrants with strong French language skills to apply for permanent residence,
supporting Canada’s bilingual workforce objectives.
A total of 2,300 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued,
with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 439. Candidates who
demonstrated strong French language ability had the advantage of receiving an
ITA and moving forward in the permanent residence process.
