On February 28,
2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry
Draw #286, inviting 1,470 candidates in a general category round. The minimum
CRS score required for this draw was 534, reflecting the continued
competitiveness of general draws early in 2024.
General rounds
consider applicants from all major Express Entry programs, including the
Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). A CRS cut-off of 534 indicates that
strong profiles with skilled work experience, strong language scores, higher
education, or other key factors continue to perform well.
