Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw – April 6, 2023

Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #174 on April 6, 2023, issuing a total of 566 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) across multiple streams.

Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 225 candidates in occupation-specific selections were invited. Profiles declaring current employment in Manitoba in occupations identified with high labour needs, based on Statistics Canada data, were considered. The occupations included retail sales and service supervisors and specialized occupations in sales and services (NOC 62). The lowest-ranked candidate in this stream scored 615.

For all other Skilled Worker in Manitoba profiles not selected under occupation-specific criteria, 226 candidates were invited, with the lowest score of 670.

The International Education Stream issued 61 LAAs to eligible candidates, supporting the retention of international graduates contributing to Manitoba’s workforce and economy.

The Skilled Worker Overseas stream invited 54 candidates under a strategic recruitment initiative, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 708, helping Manitoba address targeted labour shortages.

Of the 566 LAAs issued in this draw, 157 were granted to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, offering a pathway from provincial nomination to federal permanent residence.
