Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw – July 13, 2023

Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #185 on July 13, 2023, issuing a total of 540 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas streams.

Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 205 candidates were invited through occupation-specific selection. Eligible profiles included individuals currently employed in Manitoba in occupations identified with high labour needs based on Statistics Canada data. The occupations considered included health occupations (NOC 3), specialized middle management occupations in administrative, financial, and business services (NOC 10), administrative and financial support and supply chain logistics occupations (NOC 14), and helpers, labourers, and transport operators (NOC 75). All other eligible profiles not selected in the occupation-specific stream were also considered, with 237 LAAs issued. The lowest-ranked candidates scored 604 in the occupation-specific selection and 661 in the general pool.

The International Education Stream issued 57 LAAs to eligible candidates, supporting international graduates contributing to Manitoba’s workforce.

For the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, 41 candidates were invited under strategic recruitment initiatives, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 774.

Of the 540 LAAs issued in this draw, 77 were granted to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, providing a pathway from provincial nomination to federal permanent residence.
