Manitoba conducted Expression of Interest Draw #200 on
November 16, 2023, issuing a total of 301 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and
Skilled Worker Overseas streams.
Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 92 candidates in occupation-specific selections were invited. Eligible profiles included
those currently employed in Manitoba in occupations identified with high labour
needs based on Statistics Canada data. The NOC 2021 occupations considered
ranged from nursing coordinators, licensed practical nurses, and paramedical
occupations to secondary and elementary school teachers, social and community
service workers, and home child care providers. All other eligible profiles not
selected in the occupation-specific stream were also considered, with 100 LAAs issued. The lowest-ranked candidates scored 809 in the general pool.
The International Education Stream issued 61 LAAs to
candidates meeting the eligibility requirements, supporting international
graduates contributing to Manitoba’s workforce.
For the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, 48 candidates were
invited under strategic recruitment initiatives, with the lowest-ranked
candidate scoring 721.
Of the 301 LAAs issued in this draw, 69 were granted to
candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker
validation code, providing a pathway from provincial nomination to federal
permanent residence.
