The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted
Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #32 on July 11, 2017, issuing a total of 494
Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) across the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and
Skilled Worker Overseas streams. This draw reflected Manitoba’s continued focus
on selecting skilled candidates who can contribute to the province’s labour
market and economic growth.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba
Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 458 candidates
received invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
Lowest score invited: 612
This stream targets applicants already employed in Manitoba.
Candidates with stable employment, relevant work experience, and strong
language proficiency generally rank higher in the Expression of Interest
system.
Skilled Worker Overseas
The Skilled Worker Overseas stream issued 36 invitations to
applicants residing outside Canada.
Lowest score invited: 712
This pathway is aimed at skilled professionals abroad who
demonstrate the education, experience, and language skills required to
successfully integrate into Manitoba’s workforce. Selection focuses on
alignment with provincial labour market priorities.
EOI Draw #32 illustrated Manitoba’s balanced immigration
strategy, combining skilled workers already in the province with overseas
applicants possessing in-demand skills. Tracking draw results, score
thresholds, and eligibility criteria is important for prospective applicants
under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.
