The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted
Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #35 on October 31, 2017, issuing a total of
395 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) across the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and
Skilled Worker Overseas streams. This draw reflected Manitoba’s ongoing
strategy to select skilled candidates who can meet provincial labour market
needs.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba
Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 351 candidates
received invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
Lowest score invited: 577
This stream targets individuals already employed in
Manitoba. Candidates with stable employment, relevant work experience, and
strong language skills generally achieve higher rankings in the Expression of
Interest system.
Skilled Worker Overseas
The Skilled Worker Overseas stream issued 44 invitations to
applicants residing outside Canada.
Lowest score invited: 730
This pathway focuses on skilled professionals abroad who
demonstrate the education, work experience, and language proficiency required
to successfully integrate into Manitoba’s workforce. Selection emphasizes
alignment with provincial labour market priorities.
EOI Draw #35 showcased Manitoba’s multi-stream approach to
immigration, combining skilled workers already in the province with overseas
applicants possessing in-demand skills. Monitoring draw results, score
thresholds, and eligibility requirements remains important for prospective
applicants under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.
