The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted
Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #38 on December 29, 2017, issuing a total of
178 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) across the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and
Skilled Worker Overseas streams. This draw underscored Manitoba’s ongoing focus
on attracting skilled candidates to address provincial labour market
requirements.

Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 133 candidates
received invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
Lowest score invited: 545
This stream targets applicants already employed in Manitoba.
Candidates with stable employment, relevant work experience, and strong
language proficiency generally rank higher in the Expression of Interest
system.
Skilled Worker Overseas
The Skilled Worker Overseas stream issued 45 invitations to
applicants residing outside Canada.
Lowest score invited: 711

balancing skilled workers already in the province with overseas applicants
possessing in-demand skills. Monitoring draw results, cutoff scores, and
eligibility criteria remains crucial for prospective applicants under the
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.
