MPNP Expression of Interest Draw #92

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted Expression of Interest Draw #92 on June 19, 2020, issuing a total of 181 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) across multiple immigration streams. This draw demonstrated Manitoba’s ongoing efforts to select candidates who could meet the province’s labour market demands while maintaining a competitive selection process.

Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, 111 candidates received Letters of Advice to Apply, with the lowest-ranked candidate invited having a score of 504. The cutoff score reflected steady competition among in-province applicants, emphasizing the importance of employment stability, strong language proficiency, and accurate Expression of Interest profile submissions.

The International Education Stream accounted for 12 invitations, providing opportunities for eligible Manitoba graduates who met program criteria. Although this stream does not rely on a ranking score threshold, strict adherence to eligibility requirements and proper documentation remained essential for successful nomination.

Under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, 58 candidates were invited, with the lowest-ranked candidate having a score of 686. The competitive cutoff score highlighted Manitoba’s selective approach toward overseas applicants, where strong human capital factors, occupational alignment with provincial demand, and credible provincial connections were critical for success.

Of the 181 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in Draw #92, 10 were granted to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code. Express Entry-aligned nominations provided selected applicants with faster federal processing and a streamlined pathway to permanent residence.

Expression of Interest Draw #92 demonstrated Manitoba’s structured and competitive provincial nomination approach in mid-2020, balancing support for in-province skilled workers with targeted overseas recruitment. Tracking ranking score trends remained essential for prospective candidates preparing for future draws.
